Biography of the Photoartist

His underwater adventures have taken him to an array of the worlds best diving locations. Through his use of light, shadow and contrast, his art & photography seem to come to life, and there is a true life story behind every picture he takes and every piece of art he creates.

His eye is always on capturing the serene beauty of our natural world; both above and below water, and he hopes everyone will enjoy the efforts of his style and approach to nature's bountiful color. He is an accomplished writer, artist, and photographer who takes his work very seriously.

Jim believes that our oceans, streams, and rivers are the life-blood of our planet; and we must protect and preserve them for our future, and the future of our children.

Recently Jim had an exhibit at the Museum of Natural History located in Raleigh, North Carolina.
